I can't believe it! Hutch is 5 months old already! I've been a mom for 5 whole months. That is just crazy - but a wonderful crazy! Just thought I'd post a few photos of our blue eyed boy outside. It was beautiful a couple days last week, so we went out to explore the yard together. He's not quite mobile yet, but rolling & sitting and putting everything in his mouth. This is my first post as a new mom! And so far it has been a blessed adventure! As I write this, our sweet little boy is sleeping across my lap - oh the world of motherhood :) Hutchins Glenn Hammer arrived on Sept. 21 at 7:23 pm. He was 8lbs 3oz and 21 1/4 inches long. Here are a few of his newborn pics I took at 5 days of age and a few more from Halloween! 6 week photos are coming soon! Since September is really NOT that far away, (WOWZA), I wanted to let everyone know Jeff and I are expecting our first child! He, yep a bouncing baby boy, is due mid September. Therefore, Photos by Josey will be closed from September 1, 2010 - November 1, 2010. I need a little time to spoil my new little guy :) I will be finishing any previous projects during that time, just not taking on any new photo sessions until November. Thanks for understanding! I'll be sure to announce when he does make his arrival and post some photos, (of course.) Chelsea is just one of those people you like to be around. If you notice in the pictures, she can't stop smiling & her giggle is contagious! Maybe that's partly to do with Jim being around. Hello! I know I have been a very bad blogger lately!!! Senior season swept in and swept September away! (Hmmm.... how many s's are in that sentence?) It has been a wonderful fall of meeting new people and making lots of new friends. I like to think the senior girls bring me a little fashion sense that I might not otherwise have :) Thank you to all my fall clients for grinning and bearing with the unusually wet & cold October. I wish I could always fix the weather for you, but alas, that is not within my powers. I think we'll leave that to the big Man upstairs. Some of you know my family and some of you don't. Well, they came out for a little photo shoot the other day, and here are the results! I have two awesome sisters who I love dearly and are my best friends, two great brother-in-laws, one amazing husband and of course a mom and dad who I can't possibly write enough endearing stuff about on this blog. I couldn't have been more excited when Austin and Angela asked me to photograph their wedding reception. They had gotten married on a cruise a while back and wanted to have a home town reception to celebrate. I think they would agree, it was probably a more pleasant temperature on the cruise than that day in Kansas. But, they survived and turned out some pretty good & fun photos! Congrats you two!
